Problem: High ticket sales and ambition need a growth-focused payment provider

Experience conversion of 15 percent with Easy checkout

The ticket supplier EasyTicket started in 2021 in Norway and specializes in the sale of tickets for nature parks, concerts, tours, performances, and other events. In October 2020, Olav Ludvig Jordal and Kees Oscar Ekeli decided to start up their own ticket company to meet the growing demand for tickets to Bjørneparken in Flå. Planning, testing and development was done in spare time and at weekends, and less than six months later the solution was in operation.

High volumes means success, but also challenges

Our biggest customer is Bjørneparken, where every opening day is like an event with up to 1,500 spectators. In addition, we sell tickets for festivals, tours, concerts and other events, says EasyTicket’s general manager, Olav Ludvig Jordal.

Since its inception, EasyTicket has experienced fabulous success, with around 24,000 processed orders and more than 93,000 tickets sold. The company, which today consists of a team of four people, is thus delivering black figures in its first year of operation and has ambitions to double the transaction volume in 2022.

Solution: User-friendly ticket puchases via a well-established payment provider

To make it easy for customers to order tickets for events online, EasyTicket was looking for a payment solution that was as user-friendly, stable, and intuitive as the ticketing system they had developed.

“It was very important for us to be able to offer a payment solution from a well-reputed and well-established player in the market. To be able to handle large volumes; user-friendliness; and reliability are important keywords for us, and we get all this with Nets and the payment solution Easy, says Olav. He adds: “The refund option in a few days has been the alpha and omega and gives us a big advantage compared to other competitors, who often use 30 days”.

Result: 15% increase in conversion

Making it as easy as possible

Nets is committed to making it as easy as possible for people to pay for products and services. With the Nets Easy payment solution, customers do not have to fill in contact and payment information every time they shop, which leads to more completed purchases and higher turnover. Furthermore, customers have the option of paying for the tickets by card, Vipps, invoice or MobilePay.

“In 2021, we sold online tickets for NOK 33 million through EasyTicket, with a conversion of up to 15 percent! The fact that we have a stable and flexible payment solution that makes it easy for our customers to pay is part of the reason for the high conversion rate,” says Olav.

Quick and easy implementation

A major advantage of Nets Easy is that it is easy for companies to adopt the solution. On the tech site you will find both a demo shop and information on integration options.

“The implementation went easily and quickly, with super-fast onboarding. At the same time, we know that Nets picks up the phone if we have questions or need help,” says Olav, before he concludes with a few more words of praise: “It means a lot to us to work with a “high end” payment provider that we know our customers trust and feel comfortable with. We are simply very satisfied with the collaboration and look forward to the continuation”.

Previous payment solutions have given us lots of manual work. We had to log into several portals to manage transactions, and there was much fraud. With Nets Easy none of that is an issue anymore.
