Lampe-studio.dk saved time and made many manual routines redundant

I work as a partner and marketing manager in Nets with a focus on our e-commerce solutions, and have over 15 years of experience with B2B marketing within SaaS. Problem: Tightened requirements for digitization and documentation make running a high-volume business a challenge

With an intense battle for customers and with a new bookkeeping act with stricter requirements for digitization and documentation, the retail trade is focusing on intelligent solutions for payment and bookkeeping. Innovative thinking is required if customers are to have a good shopping experience, and the administration is to function like a well-oiled machine.

“We established a webshop a few months before corona, and it has contributed to doubling our turnover,” says owner and day-to-day manager of lampe-studio.dk Svend Steenstrup, who also runs a physical store in Hørsholm. He continues, “We chose Nets Easy as the payment system. It is flexible for our purpose, which is online payment with all the common cards. But we were also looking for a solution that could facilitate bookkeeping.”

 

Solution: Integration between Nets Easy and IEX saves valuable time every week

Steenstrup continues, “Integration between Nets Easy and IEX, with the PayMatch solution, facilitated our bookkeeping. IEX, popularly speaking, builds a bridge between the webshop and e-conomic, where customers’ online purchases are automatically booked as an invoice. PayMatch reconciles payouts and card fees from Nets Easy in the accounts and establishes an audit trail that already meets the requirements of the accounting law that has been adopted.”

He explains that there is a season in lighting sales and that in a typical week, there are approximately 70-80 payments online at lampe-studio.dk.

“I used to have to process them manually one by one, and that could take up to two hours a week. I would like to think that I now only spend half an hour a week, so PayMatch frees up time that I can spend on customer advice instead. The automation also helps to reduce the risk of errors associated with manual processes,”states Steffen Hussing, Hareskoven’s Bookkeeping and Accounting Service, which takes care of bookkeeping and accounting for lampe-studio.dk.

Hussing’s experiences with PayMatch have been positive, and he states: “Manual bookkeeping is history. Now the system finds the order number and invoice number itself, and it delivers this information in a cash journal that can be posted directly.”

Result: Saves time for users and also ensures a digital documentation trail

It is IEX, experts in integration services, who have developed PayMatch as a ‘translator’ between the systems. The solution paves the way for lampe-studio.dk and their partner in bookkeeping to have an easier everyday life and to be prepared for the new bookkeeping requirements.

“For us, it’s a success when our visions translate into concrete benefits, save time for users and, on top of that, ensure a digital documentation trail,” explains Niel Rokkjær, CEO at IEX, and he continues: “Fortunately, Nets was receptive to our ideas. They have very much grabbed the ball and contributed to making PayMatch an obvious add-on to Net’s Easy checkout.”

The commercial collaboration on a technically innovative solution such as PayMatch has in any case made the owner and day-to-day manager of lampe-studio.dk in Hørsholm, Svend Steenstrup, very satisfied:

“We ourselves have been active in putting together the modules that make it a good experience to shop in our webshop, where we have over 2,000 items on the shelves from all the major lamp manufacturers and designers. I dare to say that the PayMatch module has worked without any problems, and that it is also a cheap investment,” concludes Svend Steenstrup.
